Tallulah B2 With Jasmine ,A Floral Musk Triumph

| Tallulah B2 w/ Jasmine by Wing and A Prayer Perfumes |
For this post I decided to review the sensuous, musky floral, Tallulah B2 W/Jasmine. A limited edition perfume, it is seamless alchemy of Musk, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Rose and Jasmine. A touch of Linden blossom rounds out this bold, complex fragrance. The warmth of this perfume is a favorite pick of mine for intimate dinners out with loved ones on a cold winter's evening. Yet it can certainly be worn during the day as well, dabbed sparingly on the wrist to make you feel sexy!

The Scent Of Remembrance
One of my first childhood memories is of being three years old, lying on the fresh cut sprawling lawn of my grandparents' house. I remember the salt sea air and hint of seaweed, the sharp green of the grass, and the resinous pine trees that bordered their garden. I lived in the present moment back then, and indulged in the simple joy of rolling down the undulating soft hill of their yard while my Nanadele tended to her beautiful flowers. The colors and scents were glorious, sunrise orange day lilies, full bodied peach oceanic roses and deep violet crocuses. It was a veritable Garden of Eden for me. The summer afternoons spent there with my grandfather lounging on the patio brown as a berry, iced drinks in glasses clinking, my parents conversing about the news of the day...it was so peaceful, so safe. Fragrances from nature captivated me, the moss damp of earth to the ephemeral yet beautiful scent of New Guinea impatiens after a sun shower. It is no wonder that as a tiny girl, I became entranced by miniature bottles of golden liquid that were so fragrant, magical potions I could not get enough of. I dabbled in my grandmothers's boudoir sniffing the aldehyde laden Chanel No 5, the grand floral Joy and many others. Yet still my favorite perfumes were the subtle ones that came from nature. I recall peeling an orange, and rubbing the fragrant peel on my wrists or crushing flower petals into water in attempts to capture it's gorgeous essence. And so it began, at three years old, my lifelong obsession with scent, my initiation into the world of natural perfumery. I begin this blog at the dawning of a new year. I will be reviewing natural perfumes from artisan perfumers worldwide. I will detail my own journey as I study natural perfumery after nearly two decades of being a practicing aromatherapist. And, I will fill you in as I prepare for my July 2012 trip to France to realize a dream of being in Provence for the Lavender harvest! Thank you for joining me on my journey!
